I had no idea Lubbock had a local chapter. Thanks for the info. Do you know how I can volunteer?

It is great to know Lubbock has a local MADD chapter. So many people are affected by drunk driving each year, and it is all senseless. This website is a great way to get information out and educate people about the dangerous of drunk driving.

This is an awesome site, for information. I actually just gave a speech yesterday in my public speaking class it was about drunk driving. i went to the MADD website and got some very useful information. I have a friend that passed away almost 7 yrs ago from drunk driving, so all this information really hits home for me. I just hope other people will visit this site and use the information to their advantage!

I know I have been very fortunate to not be affected by drunk driving. For me it is just not worth it.

I myself have never been effected by drunk driving, but I have had a few friends. Thankfully they didn't get too seriously injured, but there car was wrecked. I just hope that one day, people will realize that when you are drinking, be safe about it and don't drive.

it's a great site and very informative, one of my closest friends was killed her freshmen year of college, my junior year of high school, when she and her boyfriend an two other good friends of ours got into his car drunk... it affected the entire town, especially my best friend who found them first.... since then, it seems like it happens more and more and it's all still sensless....

smileThanks for the information you provided. I'm glad to see that we have a local place for people to be able to talk about our experiences with MADD.
